Ian McAllister - President

Ian has worked within multiple industries, such as retail, corporate (Technology, Healthcare), aviation, and humanitarian response to provide: operational efficiency and process/systems evolution, education for internal and external stakeholders, and direct humanitarian response support.


As Director of Emergency Operations for an emergency response organization Ian developed Emergency Response protocols and documented plans that effectively addressed the needs of various emergency response scenarios and specialized in providing the training required to turn the plans into an operational capability.  In addition, Ian developed realistic exercises to ensure response personnel were response ready.  As Director, Ian managed the emergency response activities of almost a dozen humanitarian events within, and outside of, the United States.


Formerly an aircraft dispatcher for both part 121 and part 135/91K operations, he has been trained on and dispatched over a dozen unique aircraft.  In addition, he has worked as an ATC Coordinator and, as such, has served as a liaison between the FAA Command Center and airline stakeholders to help support the safe and expeditious flow of traffic in the National Airspace System.


In Commercial Aviation, Ian served in several process improvement roles and was a member of the Go-Team, tasked with assisting the NTSB in accident investigations.  He served as a mentor to train new Dispatchers that joined the System Operations Control Team.


In Corporate/General Aviation, Ian worked diligently on safety and customer service oriented issues and was a key contributor to several operational control and service standards improvements within the Flight Center.  In addition, he served on the Family Assistance Team which was tasked with providing families emotional and logistical assistance in the event of an accident.


In the public sector, Ian has worked with the American Red Cross with an emphasis on disaster response and logistics.  He has served as a Disaster Response Team Lead as well as a Disaster Assessment, Mass Care, and Response Technology team member.  Ian shared responsibility for the training of all new team members joining the Disaster Response team.   


Ian holds FAA Licenses as an Aircraft Dispatcher, Private Pilot and Ground Instructor.   He is certified through FEMA in Incident Command Systems (ICS) and National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and is Six Sigma – Green Belt Certified.
